SPONSORING 42 CHILDREN FOR THEIR SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND TO MEET THEIR FOOD NEEDS

Since 2016, we've been supporting 42 children in Addis Ababa, providing essential school supplies like pens, uniforms, and books at a cost of $125 per child annually. For families facing extreme hardship, we've extended our support by covering their food expenses, also at $125 per child per year.

Included below are images showcasing some of the students we assist, along with group photos featuring their families. Dr. Mekbib Alemu graciously volunteers to oversee their progress, ensuring their needs are met, and regularly visits them to offer encouragement to stay in school. As of this year, it’s encouraging to see 5 students graduated with college diploma, 3 in their last year at high school and 3 enrolled in diploma or university.

Here's an overview reflecting the cumulative count of children who have been part of this program over the past seven years, spanning from 2016 to 2023 (2008-2015 Ethiopian Calendar). We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our generous donors whose support has been instrumental throughout these years.
