ይሄ ታሪክ በሉቃስ 10:25-37 ላይ የተመሰረተ ሲሆን ብዙ ሚስጥር የያዘ ነው፡፡ የማያቁንም ሰዎች ቢሆኑ በችግራችን ግዜ ወዳጅ ሊሆኑን እንደሚችሉ ከዚህ እንማራለን፡፡ መጽሐፉ በአማርኛና እንግሊዘኛ በስዕል ትቀነባብሮ ለልጆቻችን በሚመች መልኩ ተዘጋጅቷል፡፡

This story is one of the parables told by Jesus in the New Testament of the Bible. Jesus was answering the question, what does it mean that we should love our neighbor as we love ourselves? Who is our neighbor? In the parable, he used a Samaritan man - someone that the people listening would assume they should dislike and be afraid of - as the person who turned out to be a good neighbor to the man who was robbed and left by the side of the road.
